HUMANE JUSTICE

We advocate for reform of the criminal justice system by shedding light on the current system and offering opportunities for improvement. In doing so, we advocate for rehabilitation, reducing recidivism rates, giving victims peace of mind, reducing the cost of incarceration, and more.

Restorative Justice

Our organization supports Restorative Justice.
What is restorative justice and why is it important?

  • It has been shown to substantially reduce recidivism (repeat offending)
  • If implemented properly, it helps reduce the costs of criminal justice
  • It helps provide satisfaction to both victims and offenders that justice has been done
  • It reduces victims' post-traumatic stress symptoms (and the related costs), as well as the desire for violent revenge against their offenders.
